MB01 - KONG [Core Clash Expansion]

Role: Battlefield Domination

Initial sightings of MB-01 KONG were assumed to be sensor glitches or part of some sort of elaborate hoax, as it is constructed on a vastly larger scale than any other unit observed on the planet. Towering four times taller than standard robots and weighing over twenty times as much, KONG is quite simply a terrifying colossus of raw destructive power. 

With a massive reactor core and rocket-propelled fists the size of its targets’ entire bodies, KONG rampages across a battlefield, crushing or tossing aside anything in its path. The two large synergistic modules mounted on its back act as auxiliary defense systems, augmenting KONG’s toughness while docked. However, they can also be deployed as semi-autonomous attack turrets, supplementing KONG’s brutal offensive strategy with potent energy weapons. One turret is equipped with a wide-arc scatter blaster designed to strike multiple targets, while the other carries a precision laser cannon intended to cause high damage to single targets at greater ranges.

To say that MB-01 KONG is an asset in battle is an understatement of comical proportions. If presented with the opportunity to field this unit, a Controller would be foolish to turn it down.
